First post and glad to be here. Thanks for this entertaining thread, I too own both (though the 3 is still on the boat), but I have had the 997TT for over a year now and I just test drove a 335 extensively including highway driving.
Let me just say that it will take much more than a chip to get anywhere near the TT's acceleration (even a 996TT) let alone a stock 335.
Actually the 335 did feel quicker than my modded boxster, but was more in line with a Cayman S.
Anyhow I can't wait to have my coupe delivered in a couple of weeks and will definitely post impressions and maybe a clip if the wife feels like racing.
