I didn't drive the older versions, but there is no lack of immediate thrust now.
Of course if I wasn't wanting to dump into a lease or take on horrible depreciation I wouldn't hesitate to throw a pedal commander at an older model. Those really work over at Porsche, where some have an awful pedal out of the hole. I'd at least be doing some reading about it.
