If you're still under warranty, I don't think it matters that much.

A few years ago, I bought my first BMW from Endurance Motors in Mount Kisco. They were fine -- until the car is out of warranty. Then, good luck getting service - typically, 4 to 6 weeks for an appointment.

If you're in westchester and you plan on keeping your car past warranty, there's an excellent, independent BMW service shop in Bedford Hills (just off the Saw Mill Parkway) called Bimmers Only. Much much better than a dealer.

I moved to NJ and wish I had someone that good near me now.
