Actually, the newer 40is (and even the X3/4 M40is) don't do this any longer. There is a lot of coding research being done to open the exhaust flap.
There is the manufactured "woooooooo" sound on the 45e, though, which is kind of space-age sounding and a different kind of cool. |
I guess I won't experience that anytime soon.
