I just got a e45 w 20" wheels and finding that the ride quality is not as smooth as I had expected. Every car magazine praises the new X5 platform for being super comfortable - more comfortable than the Cayenne w Air Suspension which is what I had before.
Did you find the ride quality in the 40i significantly smoother than in the e45 on broken roads? I'm finding the ride in the e45 much busier than on the Cayenne (just air suspension, no PDCC).
