Burning question for those of us outside the US - do we have the same issues with laser lights as the US - are they broken/have they been nobbled?
First cornering lights - if you could try them out at night like ScottMZ3 did on his M850i in this post:

you would be an absolute champion. In Australia some early dealer 30d's did come with laser lights as did all M50d's (early dealer and customer ordered - didn't have to wait until March/April like all customer 30d's). My tests of 30d's with laser lights say the 30d cornering lights don't work. Haven't been able to test an M50d.
A slightly more difficult and more subjective test would be on the open road can you detect high-beam adaptive working and possibly if you believe they are operating a full power (don't know how you can objectively test, so just your subjective opinion would be great).
