I think i only feel it when the ground is wet because it allows more slippage that wouldn't normally happen in the dry.
I know it doesn't make sense but its hard to explain without actually feeling it. Never noticed my previous awd bmw's doing this before. Car is a 2020 X5MC.

Most AWD cars will do this. The wider and more aggressive the tier can really exaggerate it. The older AWD quattros would feel like you were going to snap a axle. Modern AWD cars with 4 wheel steering all but eliminates any of this binding.
