Non-M BMWs with factory M branding
I know this has been covered before but I think BMW has completely confused it's M brand by sticking the logo on the side of most of their new vehicles (I guess to denote the M Sport package).
I had a note today from someone saying they just tested a one year old Z4M... Go figure.
Also had a colleague tell me how impressed they were at the mpg rate they had from their 'M3' hire car. Then they mentioned it was diesel powered... Turns out it was a 2L M Sport.
I feel like this is just making genuine M cars appear like the rest of the range and perhaps they should have made up some other logo to denote sporty trim levels etc.
