You are spot on. I had a mineral white (tri coat) SUV before my current Carbon Black X5. The white did show a lot more grime and road tar than what people think. Summer time I used to cringe every time I would drive over the joints of a new asphalt section of the road as they use that tar across every joint.
Bugs for example are highlighted on the white front. There is no free ride with any paint color. Paint color really boils down what attitude you want in your ride. There is no right or wrong answer as it’s more of a fashion statement.
