That status means the factory accepted the order which will be built in the slot the dealer assigned to it. It's like getting a reservation for a plane ride...it's for a certain date, but it could be way far in the future.
Your dealer can tell you what week it is scheduled for, and with the production number, you can call BMW, and they can tell you. It could be very soon, or it could be months away, then, you have the shipping time.
