An fully loaded M50i cost around NOK 2 050 000 or EUR 210 000. For the M50d you have to pay around NOK 1 900 000 or EUR 195 000. And if you want an X5 M, you have to pay around NOK 2 450 000 or EUR 250 000. We have similar tax systems like Belgium.

In Belgium it is not that bad. The tax on the car it self doesn't depend on co2 like in Scandinavian countries and the Netherlands. In these countries polluting cars sometimes have a tax twice as high as the price of the car.
Still we are taxed to drive a car the is registered to our own company en this is based on co2. The difference with a 30d is 7-9 k a year and costs and leasing like mentioned are 100 % deductible vs 50% on a 30d. Road taxes are lower to. So this makes it a much better deal compared to a 30d or 40i.
