As a long time owner of AMGs, Mercedes will most certainly NOT badge non-AMG cars. This is something that is done aftermarket or perhaps by a certain dealer. The point is, I also have seen many Bimmers trying to look like (and even badged) as Mīs. I even saw this one guy that change the front fenders of this BMW 530 for those of an M5 and badged it, M5!! Wow, what people will do for the coveted M or AMG badge. Anyway, donīt think this phenomenon is particular to Mercedes owners.
