What kind of dog, some are naturals. Breed plays a role. Have him sit and step back a couple feet and toss small treats where he can easily catch them. Had an Australian Shepherd who caught the first frisbees thrown, now have a J Russell who likes to play keep away. Started him with treats now we throw his toys up and he jumps to catch them. Frisbees next.
