You can't imagine how many homes get burned form devices you do not expect.
One of the kids bought a cheap ass iphone charger from AliExpress and it melted and almost caught fire when plugged in.
So no cheap ass electrical devices anymore. But that is also not a guarantee.

I agree. BMW gave me assurance that the work they fix they did on the grounding cable should solve the problem. Car has always been parked in my garage - for a month now. Just added a smoke sensor to be on the safe side.
