This is the second car I have a display key and I rarely use it. I use the normal key combined with the connected drive app . The cd app gives more info than the display key. And the display key is bigger and a bit less comfortable to carry around all day. I wouldn't spent a lot of money on it. Only thing the display key can do that the app can't is lowering the car.
Another reason why I am not using it in the x5 is that I can't manage to have my profile on both the normal key and the display key.
