Whoa, great metalwork man. I wish GM did that well making the cowl section replaceable/serviceable on their 60s B bodies.

On my 65 Impala, it's all rusted to hell and is a 3 layered spot welded extravaganza of metal that you can't access, that all merges into one piece at the windshield gasket surface... really shitty design my dad and I spent almost 6 months on alone. It seems that setup is much cleaner, but they're also very different cars structurally so it's understandable.

It's really nice to see one of these cars properly gutted and rebuilt, can't wait to see the result. I'm also very curious if you spot welded it and sealed it with glue/sealant or if the cowl itself is actually body glued in now. I've been wanting to venture into using body glue in place of traditional methods but haven't taken the plunge yet.
