I think no one really put any effort into the newest S55 DME because it came at the end of the F8x lifecycle and I guess not that many M2c/cs owners are worth the effort, since the B/S58 DME is the new thing.

Not saying you are wrong but then what stops people from going nuts and forcing out hundreds of HP more that an engine is designed to output? Can I tune a M340 to a M3 power level and hold BMW responsible on its warranty claim?
