I would suggest to collect opinions at Porsche’s forum as well and make your own conclusions, here you’ll get mostly bmw biased thoughts.
Speaking about the price, yes X5 is cheaper but the depreciation rate is worse. It’s more or less generally recognized that Cayenne drives and handles better, but PCM loses to idrive. Worth it or not 20-30k premium - is purely individual, you can’t measure amount of better steering in $$$ for everyone.
