EWG is electronic waste gate control. If you want to run the tune and get the real gains then you need EWG control. Without, it is basically a CAN JB+. EWG is what all of us will want if we go JB4 because you can run higher boost without a CEL. Terry has told me it is still in BETA for the N63R as of now.
