Are you saying that M sport suspension in 50i and 40i are different? I do not think so. Cornering I would say is fine in mine. But on a straight road in comfort mode the car is bouncing up and down - floating... Also sometimes it also moving left to right a lot when car drives over bumps - not like previous X5. And this stay true for any speed.
In regards to M brakes - I do not have it. In my car there is inch or so of dead space at the top of brake pedal's travel.
