Even in my 340i xDrive (which in theory has the "same" powertrain) the downshifts under braking are smoother even in Sport or Sport+.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is it something that will improve with time? Is anyone aware of a TCM software update?

Also I notice that when the idle stop is on and you're decelerating to a stop it tends to jerk the car to a stop more than if it's off. It's not violent or anything but I notice it and passengers may think I'm stopping short.
Same rhing happens to me during downshifts.....dealer saysbits normal. I will try another one to see how it is
