First time poster, 6 month lurker. Same thing happened to me. New x5M50i, two months after I picked it up a/c blows hot air. Compressor is dead. Part is now on back order until at least July. Dealer is trying to take care of me but bottom line is Im out of my new special order ride until at least July. Is anybody concerned that replacing the compressor could lead to long term issues with the car or selling the car down the road?
