If you’ve used Lithium batteries for an extended time you know they loose capacity and current capabilities after a number of cycles. This also applies to EVs. Battery tech is not there yet.

Sorry to say but for drag racing that’s a wrong tool for the job. They’ll manage dozens or even a few hundred good passes, but ultimately the performance drop is expected due to current technical limitations.

I don’t think Tesla is obliged to do anything here to be honest.
