But VER had every reason to believe HAM bailed upon disappearing from his mirrors. HAM barely clipped him and VER almost pulled it off. Plus HAM didn't even remotely attempt to hit the apex where VER thought he would be. Unfortunately he was wrong but we all make mistakes. Just glad I don't have to make split second decisions at that speed.
Reference Brazil, HAM could still see VER and had a much better opportunity to avoid a collision.
