A few questions on install for
r33_RGSport
I went under the vehicle and hood this weekend to determine the level of involvement on this install. I enjoy DIY for these types of bolt-on installs but the space looks limited.
- Since the secondary cat slips on to the midpipe does the midpipe/exhaust rear section have to be lowered or pulled back to get the secondary cat out?
- The secondary cat bolts up to a bracket but it faces towards the rear of the car so removal of the belly pan looks like a must and access still looks tight. Any suggestions here?
- From the top side, access is limited as the strut brace is in the way for access down to the V band that clamps the secondary cat to the primary.
- The reverse torx screw that secures the V band clamp is very close to the firewall and doesn't look like you can get a socket with ratchet on it / nor have enough space to get turns on it.
Attaching a few photos for reference. Any help/guidance would be appreciated!
