I would be interested. Not because I don't believe you, but I actually agree with your prof to some degree. Unless battery technology has a massive technological increase in the next 5 years, which I keep hearing but not seeing, I can't see a vast majority of the population moving to electric cars.

There are some fundamental problems that still have not been solved with electric cars. Ask anyone that parks on the street in Europe, then ask anyone working on the power grid.
