Sounds good, although AMG will likely sound better, but I can't help but think that I want things to switch up at M. This is the 3rd generation of the X5 M to receive a Twin-Turbo V8, and the fourth iteration of the S63 engine in the last 10 years. Its not a bad engine, but I miss the days of more bespoke engines, like the S65 V8 in the M3, the S65 V10 in the M5/6, even in those days Alpina put a supercharger in the E65 B7. I know that the environmental issues and government restrictions of course have an effect on this, but engine wise I would like to see BMW do something different than just keep updating the same ol' S63 engine.
