I immediately ruled out the X3 M as a possible next car because of its harsh ride, which I don't find acceptable for an SUV no matter how much horsepower or what badging it has. BMW doesn't seem to be getting the ride and handling balance right lately, hopefully the next M3/4 won't suffer because of it as well.
I agree, I've read many reviews that complain about the ride quality. I'll find out for myself next month when my X5M arrives.
