Only a few days ago the Dutch car blog "Autoblog.nl" spotted the M2 test mule pictured below on the German Autobahn. They posted these five pictures on Jan 29, 2015.
Alike some of the M2s tested in Scandinavia earlier this month, also this test mule features the integrated fender parts.
The testing goes on...

Close up of the first picture. Check the peculiarity of the exhaust tips: if it's not related to the picture (though it can also be noticed on the second picture), it looks as if an exhaust valve prevented the exhaust fumes from exiting through the right hand exhaust tips. Maybe BMW is also experimenting with valve set-ups and sound ? Or disconnected ? Or CF tips on the left and titanium tips on the right ?
(Note: with the 1M Akrapovič axle-back exhaust, whenever the exhaust valve is closed (so-called "white mode"), no exhaust fumes exit through the
outer exhaust pipes - all fumes then exit only via the muffler through the
inner exhaust pipes)
