[M3Mikey]

Hi guys I have a question. I raced a neon the other day and when I launched it the rpms just dropped then slowly picked up again... I later found out I forgot to turn off traction control. This leads to my question of which is the best way to get the M3 going to top speeds the quickest? When racing I always have M mode on. Now the question is, is it faster to just start normal? Or is it faster to launch it (traction control off? ) burn the tires a little and shoot off?
Should you launch if you think the car is going to beat you?

By the way, I am not racing in neighborhoods or streets and I am not putting any civilians in danger.
