Compared to Porsche and Jaguar, how can the M cars be too expensive? Unless you are comparing them to Boxsters and base F-Types which are different cars for different purposes. Porsche closes sibling to the sport sedan is the Panamera, which is not a competitor for the M3/4. Perhaps you have moved beyond what the M3/4 are built for? You want a sporty coupe? Then of course, Porsche and Jaguar will have something more suited for you. That is not to say it is too expensive just because it no longer fits your needs. It fits the needs of others just fine actually. Compared to other sports sedans in the segment, it's priced suitably. These aren't Audi S4's and AMG C43 after all.
