Why are all of you guys not using the car without a pin protected profile? Your home address will be securely stored inside your profile. The default Guest profile doesn't need to have anything set except some settings like if you want the mirrors folded when locking the car. |
Except when someone has your physical key fob as well. (Think Valet)

It doesn't matter if they have your fob if you've activated valet mode before handing it over.
For things like BMW service, I just head out with my second key that is not linked to my profile. I could temporarily also disable auto-login to the profile from my main key too.
Yes, if your fob gets stolen off of you, you're in a bit of a pickle. But they can find your address from the registration in the glovebox too.
