Unfortunately, I am stumped as to how to get the valve to open, so that I can unplug the servo wire. I even went out and bought an endoscope to put in the exhaust pipe so I can actually see the flap. I haven’t hit the break in period yet, but even up to 4000 RPM, the flap stays closed. Once I hit 1200 miles I will try again and bring the motor close to redline.
I’m not thrilled about the idea of removing a clip (described above), as I’m sure it would be very difficult to put back in if needed.
If anyone has any other ideas please share.
