I sent pm on the grills, seems as if someone else is ahead of us all, as for the 8000k hids- these are replacement D1S HID bulbs- if you go onto like google and type in 8000k d1s or 8000k hid you'll get info on it- bulbs are rated on a kelvin scale for their color, the factory ones are around 4200-4300k and are the whitest and brightest of the color range, 3200k is more yellow like halogens and then the higher you go the more blue and then purple they get- 6000k is pretty blue, 8000k will be like blue/borderline purple and then 10000k will be visibly purple, as for light output anything up to 8000 or 8500k will put out very good visibility, though 4300 or so will be the highest in actual light output, 6000k and 8000k are the popular colors for those that change out the stock bulbs and you really just have to look at pictures and decide which you like better, either way its a nice upgrade over stock, and his price looks very decent, though i havent shopped hid bulbs recently

(this is a very very basic overview of the colors/brightness without going into all the details of hid and kelvin and lumen outputs)

added- pic of 8000k on e90, looks pretty good: http://www.smaps.co.jp/blog/upload/2006/09/e90.jpg
