My previous X5 and X5M took 4 weeks from order to delivery in the east coast. Granted this was before covid delays but there can't be THAT many people buying 125K suvs requiring 8 months to get. It all comes down to if that dealership has any allocation and how many people are in front of you. Small low volume dealers might not get as many M car allocations.
