It is an interesting question how much an additional 1/2 inch of sidewall will help in this instance, but if you look at the 22" rear profile (30) it barely looks like there's any rubber on the wheel! Not to mention the astounding weight of the wheel itself.
The only consolation for me would be the millions of dollars and thousands of development miles engineers put on these cars developing safe and reliable suspension systems to accommodate any set-up offered.
I highly doubt they would offer a set-up that's so fragile and compromised that they would risk any sort of liability or warranty recourse.
I do however understand that the laws of physics cannot be overcome...
