As an addition, it's best to reformat any portable flash drive you plan on using for data storage rather than using it out-of-the-box, for a number of reasons - which includes removing all the software often included "free" by the manufacturer on the drive. It's also usually best to reformat it on the device you plan on using to read it, although I don't find any option in IDrive 7 to format devices, so your home computer is the next best option. And the standard FAT32 or NTFS formatting is more universally reliable and readable in transferring between portable devices (of which the X5 is one), although exFAT seems to work in the G05.
