When I was starting out with coding I didn't know which adapter to get, so I ended up bet the MX+ bluetooth. Then I wanted to use Esys so I ended up getting an Enet + USB adapter to hook my computer up. While I was at it, I ended up buying a lightning adapter for the Enet cable (since I'm on an iPhone). Looking back, if I had to do it all over again, I would bypass buying the MX+ bluetooth adapter and just going straight for the Enet + adapter route. The Enet cable is so much faster - it literally takes seconds to read an ECU whereas the MX+ would take well over a minute, if the ECU had a lot of modules. On top of that it's about 1/2 the price to go this route.
The only discernible advantage I could glean from the MX+ BT adapter was if you plan on leaving in the adapter all the time - say if you like to code on the fly. I'm not that person, so there was no advantage for me.
With all that being said - I have an MX+ BT adapter I'll sell to anyone looking for one
