Keeping a microfiber cloth handy in the X5, but mainly to clean the inside windshield. A film builds it seems daily using the defrost. 5 weeks now in car. Hoping it improves.

It's possible your windshield was never really clean inside, use a clay bar to properly clean it and you shouldn't have any more issues
