100% correct call by the team. 1-2 finish remains and Lewis gains an extra 3 points, taking lead over Vettel to two full race points.
Ultimate goal for Mercedes as a team is to secure both championships, drivers and manufacturers. Mathematically it was the right call.
Everyone knows Bottas deserved that win. Lewis and the team made no attempt to hide that. Bottas is a class act, I have no doubts he will be rewarded towards the end of the season.
