XM is working fine on 530i but no audio is on X5. Did the refresh signal and rebooted drive as per the below URL, now the preview is working on X5 but It can't select other channels. On selecting other channels/stations the same preview is playing.

Mine would show as a source to select, but I could never select it. Not even preview channel. Dealer fix -- module update was required.
