We just had a couple other thread on this.
Personally, I found it alarming (and disappointing) how easily and how many chips we had on the hood of our 2019 Mineral White X5. So much so that we went out and got PPF installed. (The 2011 MDX with 110k miles we traded had fewer chips)
It has become a bit of an ordeal as the BMW Mineral White touch up paint is NOWHERE NEAR the same color white and now it's under the film.
