Flaps open you still have the exhaust gases going thru the muffler, its not like you have a cutout before the muffler which would bypass the muffler.

With the Fabspeed setup you are bypassing the muffler entirely so it should sound more than just having the flaps constantly open.

My Fabspeed Muffler Bypass should be arriving next week.. will know more after installing.
