sfscott, I applied Carpro’s CQuartz leather coating to Coffee Merino leather when our X5 was new. I occasionally apply Leatherique to it (out of habit?) and use Leather Masters Leather Dye Transfer Cleaner whenever I sense the leather is becoming discolored. With the coating, any transferred dye comes right off, and the leather returns to its original matte finish on high-use surfaces (i.e., left thigh bolster on driver’s seat). The leather has kept its original look and feel after 2+ years and 30,000 miles.
