Bought them today in advance of picking up the X5 in a couple of weeks. I'm a bit scared in taking a pry tool or knife to pull the Center Caps. Any other methods like a suction cup that someone has had any success?
Plastic pry tool will do the trick. Zero risk of damage to the rim or cap being removed
I also ordered one of these but not sure if it will be strong enough. I have the plastic pry tools. I didn't think they were thin enough.
Could work, but the pry tools don't need to be too thin. There's a set on amazon for $8 or $12...5 or 6 different sizes.
Got them. I hope they work. Not confident enough that suction cup will pull them out. If neither works it will have to wait until next year when I go from winters to summers. I may put them on the M2's Summer setup and wait to see if I can get them off. They fit on these.
