I had Pilot Sport on my E46 M3 18". Liked a lot, but the only thing I had to compare was the 19" rims I replaced them with which came with original Conti tyres.

It's a shame the 356 doesn't come in an 19" variant. That would be a nice compromise. Lowering the suspension is something that I wasn't considering - so maybe just upgrading to 18" or 19" rims would be more sensible for me.

How does changing the rims and/ or suspension outside the BMW "circle of trust" affect the warranty?

One more question - does hassling the dealer speed up the delivery? I'm very impatient!

Cheers.
Well, those pics were my F10 V1.0, which I had to reluctantly get rid off
Just got my V2.0 this week. Weather is terrible so no good pics for the car yet.

RC3 has done the suspension on his F10 so he's probably more familiar with how it may affect warranty. I replaced shocks on my 135i and I think the official position is that BMW will not warranty any problem that is affected/caused by aftermarket parts and/or additons. Realistically, they are probably just going to ignore any problems pertain to the actual aftermarket parts and its immediate systems.
