The same individual that was behind some of the other Supra rumors that didn't pan out, such as the CGI block, other engine changes that would be unique vs. the Z4 (or any other B58), manual transmissions, etc., yeah?
Prevailing wisdom tells me that Toyota has shifted funds that were allocated toward brand new V8 engines and performance cars into fighting off disruption in the EV market. We are in the twilight years of high displacement gasoline performance vehicles, and it's just not strategically viable to jump onto this slowly sinking ship.
