I think your best bet to determine if the extra money for a sound system is worth it would be to go to the dealer and sit in two cars with and without upgraded stereo. Crank up the music and listen through a sound or two. If you choose not to upgrade your stereo when you buy the car just know later down the road it can become difficult if you end up wanting
higher end audio.
