Yes, it's completely different than it's always been, but I've gotten used to the new way and find it to be fine. I run cold, so I'm a heat-grubber.

If I'm sitting in my car, I just hit the fan switch to keep warm.

If I'm going grocery shopping or something like that, I just set the precondition timer (auto start) right before I get in line to check out.
