One thing i don't get is why doesn't the US spec X5M/X6M get the sky lounge when other X5 40i/M50i here gets it and non US spec X5M/X6M gets it. After spending some time in a 40i loaner with this its a cool feature that adds some wow factor to the interior. Just seem strange to ding the US buyers after spending top dollar for the X5M/X6M

I have a theory of why US spec is limited compared to other markets, since the US is a huge market compared to other markets, car manufacturers tend to list cars cheaper. To maintain the profit margin they limit options. Now this is just my theory I might be mistaken
